 am searching and need help with records for a  James Copley, a retired conductor in Allahabad.i have tried searching but comming up with nothing (am new to all this ) james son was born in india henry john copley also in the forces in the uk thankyou in advance

Do you have any dates?

Conductor was a senior NCO rank in both the Army Ordnance Corps and Army Service Corps. If Henry John was born c1861 then Findmypast have at least one record on him.
