Hello. I wonder if I might trouble you for a few more lookups? Any of the following as taken from the 1901 Census. I'm hoping to establish mother's maiden name.

SULLIVAN Michael c1883 born Farsid, Nr Rostellan
SULLIVAN John c1885 born Carrigacrump
SULLIVAN Timothy c1886 born Carrigacrump
SULLIVAN Bridget c1889 born Carrigacrump
SULLIVAN Mary Ann c1894 born Upper Mill Rd, Midleton
SULLIVAN Tom c1898 born Ballinacurra

Is it more likely that those children born in Farsid & Carrigacrump would have been Baptised at Cloyne? The last 2 may be Midleton

Once again, many thanks for your kind help.
What are the parents names?  Would think given the area these would be Cloyne

Their parents are Timothy Sullivan and Ann/Annie (Surname unknown).

Timothy & Annie Sullivan are living in Midleton in 1901 & 1911.  He states he was born in Limerick & she in County Meath.
When I am next at church Office will take a look & see if Mary Ann & Tom are on the registers.

If you know Nathaniel Godson was born in Cork it probably would mean Cork City not MIDLETON which is County Cork.  Have you posted previously on the Cork board seeking information?

Hello , Thank you for the information . Yes I have posted concerning this ancestor before , but I was hoping to try a fresh approach , kind of like detective work  ;D.   It just seems like there is absolutely nothing out there about him or his past ? .........Some one said they thought his wife's maiden name was Hill , but I have not found proof of it yet .

Melanie, have you looked at www.corkpastandpresent.ie  In The Guys Cork Almanac 1875-76 Page 426-427  There is a John Godson Clerk Petty Sessions Conna Co Cork
John Godson a Tinsmith Fermoy Co Cork.  If you browse through the different sources on the above site which includes Marriage indexes you may find something.  Good luck :)

Sorry , thats not them , By 1832 the family moved to Whitechapel England where Nathaniels oldest daughter married a Mr Lessware .

But it could be a cousin or nephew ?
