Peter Campbell/Phoebe Ann Maynard

1891 census of Ridgetown has Peter R Campbell age 41 married Hotel Keeper with
Christie Campbell age 21 married.  Enumerators were to enter letters of the alphabet to indicate relation to head of household e.g., W for wife, D for daughter.  Both Peter and Christie are shown with the letter L in this column.  No idea what this means.

Apparently there were 2 Peter R CAMPBELLs about the same age in Ridgetown in the same time period.  The attached is from the 1901 census of Ridgetown.

Both Peter R and Peter Roy Campbell are buried in Ridgetown.

There is a marriage for a William Newcombe and Lavina Ann Campbell 29 May 1877 Chatham. Parents of Lavina Ann were Duncan and Lavina. Lavina Newcombe died 1911 Kent Co and her death registration shows parents as Duncan Campbell and Lavina Mead. I am guessing that that Peter and Lavina may have been brother and sister.
