Searching for a John Thomas, surgeon who had a daughter Mary in abt 1823 in Llanwenog....like searching for a needle in a haystack without help!
Mary married David Jenkins in March 1847, when they were both living in Dolwen Fach and here she names her father as John, a surgeon and no mention of being deceased.
