Latin names

On Irish genealogy ie there are 2 names that I am unsure of,one is transcribed as Allieshae (possibly Alicia?) and the second is Jacobo both surname Lamb,could some body tell me what the names would actually be.Many Thanks

The 'Jacobo' is defo James !

Can you attach a link to the item that you are talking about to see can I work out the female name ?!

I would imagine that it's Alicia but was written down 'phonetically' !

I don't think it's Latin as if you look at the actual record none of the rest of the names are !

Glasnevin Trust shows a burial in standard grave with book image available for a 7yr old Alicia Lamb in 1846

Have you an address for the family during that time period,it would help identify proper records for them.

Hi I do not have an address for them,the reason I was interested in the baptisms were their parents surnames of Lamb and Gogarty (but with John and Margaret as their given names) and I wondered if Jacobo was a version of John.I had posted information on the Dublin boards awhile back about the family I am looking for but I dont know how to link it to here.
