As a seasoned Rootschatter, you should know that you have to give more information:  ;D

Born in 1950s
Married in 1950s
Died in 1950s
Or just lived in 1950s?

Where - England, Wales, Scotland, Timbuktoo, Mars?  :-\  :-X

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

May be electoral rolls. The problem is it would have to be an address you recognised. Is his name common? Depending on how old he was as well.

Sorry I know... but still a little angry about my findings so far!!! so wondering if I really should continue with the search.

This is regarding a Man born in Brighton in 1922 and seemingly emigrated to Oz circa 1950 or joined the navy at that time to enable emigration to Oz.

He is deceased and so are other parties (apart from me!!!) involved so... wont really hurt anyone. But I would rather not put his name on here.

Really just need to know if I can find his 'naval record' or whereabouts in 1950.

will try the electoral roll   :) thanks for that :)  Weste No not a common name. t.g.

My sincere apologies, but why are you wasting our time, if you won't give us any clues!!!    :'( :'(  What is the point of your query?  ::)

If he emigrated, FindMyPast and Ancestry have emigration lists up to 1960. Also people on the Australia board are good at finding entrants to the country, but of course would need a name.

Seems a fair enough question.

Sorry will leave this post.

didnt mean to cause a problem.

So closing this one.
