bill coffee was my grandfathers grandfather, or william but not sure how its spelt I got a inbox from a older cousin saying the bakers left hampshire because some of them didnt want to sign up to fight so they changed their surnames from coffee or kofee to baker, I have never heard this surname

Could the surname be Coffey?
