The only addresses I have for Joseph and Rosanna at a later date are still in the City Quay area I think.

I'll check the 1911 census now.

I have a lead !

It's back to Glasnevin we go . . .

In 1898 a Patrick Walsh with an address of City Quay was buried there.

He was aged 54.

Can I suggest that you get this burial plot record and hopefully we get some leads from it ~ others buried in it etc !

Tara

Which of their children was your direct ancestor and where were they born ?

Actually, do me a favour and list ages and names for all their kids . . .

I might get a lead with one of the kids !

As I recall Patrick never made it onto the 1901 census did he? Mary was a widow so it would make sense to be him.

I'll take a look very soon.

It was Patrick and Marys son Joseph (that married Rosanna) that is my direct ancestor.

I only know of Joseph and Elizabeth.

Sorry I should have been clearer . . .

Which of Joseph & Rosanna's children is your ancestor ?

Any details on them might help me work backwards !

John Joseph Walsh born in 1919 in Dublin was my direct ancestor.

There were other kids by the names of Patrick, Joseph, Mary Anne, William, Rosie and Cornelius.

I will have to check years of births but they vary from 1904 to 1926.
