Searching for the McDermotts of Duncrun Limavady.

Success at last!! I have managed to get some information from the Tamlaghtard Parish Church ,Magilligan, registers about the Mc Dermott Family.

Mc Dermotts of Duncrun.

Charles Mc Dermott Married Elizabeth Mc Closkey between 1830 -1833.

Children of this marriage.
Thomas           Baptised 11/05/1834
Edward            Baptised 18/12/1836
Sarah              Baptised 18/03/1839
isabella            Baptised 1845
Charles           Baptised 17/10/1849
Elizabeth         Baptised 1850
Peter              Baptised 01/11/1851
Alexander       Baptised 29/05/1859  Married Mary Mc Shane 30/12/1909.


Elizabeth married James Cummings on 22nd August 1871 in Tamlaghtard Church.  Their daughter, Anne Elizabeth married Alderman Patrick Campbell 27th April,1899 in Derry.

If there is anyone who mhas any further information on the Mc Dermott family I would be grateful.

Further to my earlier posts from a search of the Tamlaghtard Magilligan parish records it appears that Charles Mc Dermott may have hailed from Drumahorgan which is in the Tamlaghtard parish.As there are a lot of Mc Dermotts from Drumahorgan in the church registers.  Also I am unable to find the marraige entry for Charles Mc Dermott & Elizabeth Mc Closkey in Tamlaghtard parish records. Is there anywhere else I could try for that marraige entry?
Any help greatly appreciated.
