Hi

I am trying to authenticate parents of My Gt Gt Grandfather Robert Davies.
I think he was born c1833 Llangollen.
I have conflicting info, I have aqcuired a birth cert for Roberts brother Isaac b1838 Gwyddelwern which states parents as Hugh Davies and Elizabeth Jones, my dillema is
according to info I have from the 1841 census Roberts mother is Jane b abt 1802 but cant find a father so now i am totally confused  ??? ???
I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer
