14 Queensgate Road

I was going to take a picture of No 14 today, further research shows the family were not living at number 14, they were living at number 14 on the schedule.

If you look at previous images No 1 on the schedule was Beverley Parks

The first house down Queensgate Road is number six on the schedule

Hi , you have identified the correct Alice hood, of 14 Queensgate this is the lady who worked for Mr Watson and who eloped off to Canada with in 1907, it is thought that Mr Watson may have lived at Chalk Villa Queensgate Beverley where Alice was the house maid.

Ask your friend if Joseph ever mentioned other areas in this list, as well as Wetwang n Beverley, some names might just jog your friends mind, this may well mean this birth to be more accurate than these others I have found in Howden & Sculcoates Districts.

Can you ask your friend if this is the child that Alice was carrying when she left England for Canada?? If this is their first child, then they did not leave England for Canada until 1910/11
