You    could    look  on   line       at                     www.iomfhs.im

Go    to     RESEARCH    top   right   hand   corner   of   home     page  &   then   Brian   Lawson's    Indexes

of    BURIALS  [  not   deaths ]   &   note  that   no   cremation   was    available   in   IOM  until    much   later.

Where   did    you    receive   information    of    her   death?

I have her death certificate. It does not say where she is buried, nor does Lawson's site :(

Can   you   give   details  from   the   death   cert.  ?   I   live  in   Douglas  near  Onchan  &  will  try  follow
trail  for   you.  There  could   of   course   be  an  omission  in  Brian's  index,  for   much  later   dates  people
forget  his  list  is   burials  not  deaths.

That would be fantastic! Thank you!

She dies on 13 July 1902 at Greenfield Cottages, The Village, Conchan. She was called Isabella Corlett, female, 55 years when she died. She was the widow of John Corlett, farm labourer. Her death was witnessed by Katie Corlett (her daughter) who also lived at  that address.

Thiat is all it says.

It was in the district of Douglas.

Thanks for any help you can give! ;D

Do    you   have   her   baptism  at  Maughold   &   their   marriage  also  Maughold  ???  Both  extracted  entries

from  Parish  register   on    www.familysearch.org

I   wonder  if   this   means   burial  back  in   home   parish   in   a   family   grave   at   that  yard.

I have a copy of her wedding certificate in Maughold and know she was born there. Not much else!

Will  now   post  any  further   info. on   Manx   BB   to  avoid  duplication  as   you   have  a group  of  people

helping  you   there.
