Cathoic Burial graveyards in Haddington 1934
« on: Wednesday 17 April 13 19:47 BST (UK) »

Hello
I'm researching a Family member that died in Haddington in the Vert Memorial Hospitial in 1934. Would anyone know would there be any family research centres that would hold catholic burial records. There is most likely no headstone on the grave.

Thanks for any help.

McClafferty's of Dunmore, Raymunterdoney.
Gallagher's of Dunmore, Raymunterdoney.
Dinsmore's of Dunmore, Raymunterdoney.
McCrossan's of St. Johnston, Taughboyne.
Boyle's of Moyra, Raymunterdoney.
Diver's of Tullaghobegley.

Hi GallagherMMEM,

I have a list of St Marys Kirk in Haddington from 1920's, not sure if catholic burials there or not.

Hi

Haddington has it's own Catholic Cemetery (St. Mary's) on Gifford Road.

I do not know where the records for 1934 are held, a few years ago the administration of the cemetery was handed over to the town, you could try the John Muir Centre they may be able to help, I found them excellent.  www.johngraycenter.org.
