born in 1884 in LLANFAIR CAEREINION ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED FOUND HIM IN THE 1911 CENSUS Yspytty Ystwyth, Cardiganshire, Wales AS A WESLAYAN METHODIST MINISTER ALL I KNOW IS HE WAS EITHER ADOPTED OR ORPHANED MAY HAVE FOUND HIM ON THE 1891 CENSUS AS NEPHEW STAYING WITH THOMAS OWEN LISTED AS NEPHEW

Presumably it's yours?

There is no father's name on his marriage certificate?
Witnesses are 3 Williams (He married Esther Williams) and a May Jones (possibly his mother?).

As there was no formal adoption (until 1927) there are unlikely to be any records of this.

And (probably) no father mentioned on his birth certificate?
Llanfair Caerenion comes under the Llanfyllin Registration District.

There are 7 possible births for Richard Jones! ::)

Do you know his birthday - that might narrow down which quarter to look at.

A gamble,but there is a Richard Jones under Llanfair Caereinion in 1884 on NorthWalesBMD ref Llanfair/18/4.

Sorry for captails i dont have his birthday but narrowed it down to after 3rd april but before sept 15th and yes it is my tree    possibly a relation of jane owens in 1891 in the census llanfair caereinion
