Fisher Family, Paisley
« on: Saturday 06 September 14 14:01 BST (UK) »
After many costly searches on ScotlandsPeople I have found my late fathers lost relatives in Glasgow.
Patrick Joseph Fisher from Omagh married Margaret Given, from Greenock in 1915 in Glasgow and lived in the Gorbals with children William, Leo, John, Joseph, Helen and James.

James was a priest and became Parish Priest at St. Convals Church in Linwood, Paisley.  He is buried in the priests plot behind the church. Helen became a nun and was known as Sister Ena, however she left the holy order.

At least two of the boys were RAF pilots and I am almost sure that although all of them have passed away, there is a slim possibility that William is still alive as his death does not show on SP records, even though the others all do.

I'm hoping someone will recognise these names or at least be familiar with this area of Paisley and perhaps take a few pictures for me.
