Trying to trace old farms in Johnstonebridge / Moffat / Lockerbie area

Lochbrow farm ?

Or maybe Kers Farm

Run by late Robert and Sally Todd back in 1920/30/40's maybe ?

Anyone any ideas?

It's south of Johnstonebridge. SE of Chemish Wood, by the river Annan.

Are you also looking for a place called Kers Farm? Or is Kers Farm and alternative name to Lochbrow Farm?
If different what kind of time frame is the reference to Kers Farm? Also, where was this farm name mentioned? (ie baptism, marriage record etc)

These farms are all part of Annandale Estates.  Contact the estate office at St Annes.

Hi Kenny

You sent me a personal message, but I'm afraid personal messages do not open on my system (Windows7 -64bit) I cannot send or receive them.

Hi Kenny

From memory Lochbrow as mentioned was owned by the Earl of Annandale as part of his estate. It was tenanted by the Halliday family for maybe over 100 years beginning late in the 1600's, maybe earlier but records are a little scarce before this.

If this is of interest I could check my records for more info.
