Edward Evans - Overton

Hello

Looking for some information on an Edward Evans who I believe was born circa 1660 in Overton had sons:- Samuel, William, Isaac and John and a daughter Frances. Believe he moved to Bedfordshire (Wootton)

His father was I think John. Edward married an Elizabeth.

He could be the one that started my family roots in Toddington. I descend from John his son.

Thinking I may have a breakthrough in establishing a welsh link.

Some talk of welsh ponies being transferred to Bedfordshire, but cannot find any record of that!!

Well Mark you have done extremely well to go back to this Edward Evans in 1660!

When I was informed of your topic by email about an Edward Evans born in  Overton I have to say I got a little excited!Alas my Evans family in Overton starts with the fairly recent in comparison William Evans born in 1800!
