Inmate at the home of ? Help please
« on: Thursday 18 December 14 23:43 GMT (UK) »
Hi Chatters,

Help please.

I'd like help identifying where Martin Goetz was an inmate at time of death. The record says he was in Berlin, Ontario, Canada at the home of  :-\? I've added the death record of the next person as they died at the same place.

I know that Martin had several grown children and numerous grown grandchildren in the vicinity so I wonder if he was put into a facility because of dementia or something similar.

Any help deciphering the place of death would be most appreciated.  :)

Brilliant Jomot & Gadget!  :-* I've been diligently trying to read old German script for the past 4 weeks and was positive that the word you saw as Industry started with a T and ended in a z.  ::) Nothing like another set of eyes to put me straight. Thank you.

It still seems odd with family around who were doing well financially that Martin would have been a pauper / inmate. I definitely have more digging to do to get to the bottom of this one.

Thanks again.

Thanks to all for your interest & help. My challenge now lies in trying to determine conclusively  if this is my ggg grandfather's death record, & if so, why he wasn't living with his daughter.

Thanks & Merry Christmas. :)
