The best way to search would be at www.scotlandspeople .gov.uk if you have not used this site before it will cost you £7.00 to buy 30 credits ...It will take 6 credits to search and view ...Births up to 1913...Marriage 1938..Death 1963 ..If she was married before 1938 you will be able to get a copy which will give you her parent's names and their marriage date ...Also the same information with a death

According to a Tree she was born c 1911, Birth 26 Aug 1911, Glasgow, Lanarkshire
