Are you all referring to Pocklingtons of Lincolnshire? Maybe Brothertoft?
I'm researching my family history and has you all know it's not easy at times...does anyone or has anyone come across the name Zebedee Black in their tree? Info tells me his father is Thomas Pocklington? Mother Mary Black...

sorry Julie, no Zebedee Black or Mary Black amongst my mob (yes Lincolnshire Pocklington :), what is the timeframe you are looking at there?

Oh no! My Zebedee was baptised in the year 1800...states father Thomas Pocklington mother Mary Black..
Brothertoft Lincolnshire....I thought I may meet some lucky person who has researched it all already! Haha

I have transcribed Brothertoft for my own use. What I have is Zebedee POCKLINGTON son of Thomas Pocklington and Mary Black of Kirton 13.4.1800.
