Hi Rosie99, thanks for that, how positive can you be this birth/death is a son of Thomas & Martha.
Sorry to everyone yesterday, just found out my 1yr old cars engine is fried and needs replacing, aaagh!
I have been looking at this family for so long now, granddad Joseph (last born ) never mentioned anything about a brother or sister dying. To be honest I did not really pick up on the fact that in the child section on the 1911 census 5 living & 1 died, it is just trying to find who How & when.

Thanks again to everyone
John

On another point, the Fanny I mentioned was born 1897 to Thomas & Martha, she is with them 1901 census aged 4 but then went to live with mums parents and is with them 1911, she died 1914, so it is not her that is the recorded child death in 1911. Martha`s parents were William & Eliza Scott who were living in Grantham in 1911
Just thought I would clear that bit up in the quest to find the child who died as mentioned by Rosie99 , it would need to be looked at again.

Thanks All..

John

Hi Rosie99, thanks for that, how positive can you be this birth/death is a son of Thomas & Martha.

No one can be positive about any record on freebmd unless they already have the family details or can locate the baptism.  It was merely a possible child as it was in the right area.

The William I found earlier is obviously wrong  ;D
