Ruth Proctor b.abt 1830 daughter of Joseph Proctor

Researching Ruth Proctor who married James Riley in the Sleaford District 4th QTR 1851. Ruth was born abt 1830 in Cranwell, Lincs. I believe she is the Ruth Proctor chr 1827 at Cranwell daughter of Joseph and Mary Proctor. FamilySearch World Tree has linked her as the daughter of Joseph Proctor and Sarah Cooper. Does anyone know if indeed she is the daughter of this couple? Someone has also placed a Ruth b. 1816 Scredington d. 1818 as a daughter of this couple as well.

The 1861 shows her as 33 b Cranwell so it's likely the FS entry is correct

There is this 1841 entry for Cranwell indexed as Presley - poor quality image but on balance it is Proctor.  Somebody has notified a transcription error

The only way to be absolutely certain is to buy a copy of the 1851 marriage cert to check her fathers name

Given their ages in 1841 - that marriage may well be the right one

A Ruth Proctor aged 2yrs was buried 22.11.1818 at St Andrews Cranwell.  Given the marriage was June 1816 it's "on the cusp"

1851 and 1861 shows Joseph b Scredington and Sarah b Newark Notts

Sarah was buried at St Andrews on 13.1.1863 aged 74 and Joseph on 14.12.1874 aged 81

Thank you CaroleW. I plan on getting Elizabeth Riley's birth record first to make sure James and Ruth are her parents. Then I will get the marriage for James and Ruth. I'd say it's entirely possible Ruth 1816-1818 was theirs with the burials all being at St Andrew's.
