Title: Rushton Family - Bridgnorth

Richard Rushton was born in Bridgnorth between 1821 and 1825 according to 1851 and 1861 censuses and was married to Eliza, also born in Bridgnorth.

I would be very grateful if someone could find more information about Richard and Eliza and their parents from the 1841 census for Shropshire or Parish Records if someone has access to these.

IGI has a christening for Richard Rushton, son of Richard Rushton and Hannah, on 6 Dec 1821 at Saint Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth.

The IGI is free at the Family Search site: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=search_all1.asp&clear_form=true

If you fill in "father's name", "mother's name", region, country and county, you will find other children christened by Richard and Hannah.

I saw a couple of possible marriages for Richard and Hannah in Shropshire, but not at Bridgnorth, so difficult to be sure.  Richard and Eliza's marriage doesn't seem to be there. 

Hopefully someone with access to the 1841 census can find the family for you.

Hi Mike,
Gladly do you a look up on the Shrop, reg, disc,  :) (first time I used these),
but im not sure that Bridgenorth, is in the parish of Lichfield, perhaps some more experianced reader could shed some light. I will have a look for richard on the shrop disc for a birth in 1821, ( although this may just miss my entry dates) ,
call you if I find anything,
