Perhaps someone can look at a transcription/image for you. The 1901 decoder suggests the follwoing are together - some of the ages are a little out, so may not be 'your' family.

Cuthbert age 28 not with family?

William age 24 with 9 year old Susan

James and Leonard are together and it seems as if they are on the next page after another Thompson family with David as the head.

The only John of the right age (50) is married to Margaret and has the wrong children as well as being born Sunderland!

Hope it helps.

Jan

hi pauline
where did Johns marriage take place, it might narrow it down as there are quite a few Andrew Thompsons on the 1861 index for Northumberland

Hi Nort,
On John,s Marriage it just says of AGE? i,ve tryed to get his birth cert but as they said there are so many John Thompson,s with father Andrew from Wallsend area, it looks as if he was born between 1849/53 as on 1881 census age 29,and on 1891age 40,that,s as much as i know ,but want to try and info on my GGG/father Andrew,i,ve know idea if John had any brother,s or sister,s.

                      Many Thanks

                       Pauline

Hi Pauline,

Re; your PM,
I don't think Mary died :) I'm sorry the Mary I found in 1871 wasn't your Mary, but I think I've found her in 1891 :)

In 1871 John HENDERSON is living with his grandson Robert DOUGLAS here,

1871  RG10/5109  f.44  p.35&36   Wallsend

23 Long Row

John HENDERSON       Head   Wid  69  Tailor      Northd Mickley
Robert DOUGLAS  Grandson  Unm  19  Labourer  Wallsend

In 1881 Robert is living with his mother Ann and brother George, but in 1891 he is living with his Aunt  :)

1891  RG12/4221  f.41  p.78  Wallsend

Clyde Street

Robert DOUGLAS   Head    S    39  Riveter Holderuy ???     Northlnd Wallsend
Mary THOMPSON   Aunt  Wid    61                                     "  "       " "
Ameila SPENCE   Visitor    M     25                                  Durham Durham
John     "  "        Visitor     S      5                                    "  "  Hartlepool
James   "  "        Visitor     S      3                                      "  "      "  "
Lily        "  "       Visitor     S      1                                      "  "      " "

It would be nice to find an Ann HENDERSON/James DOUGLAS marriage to check that Ann and Mary were sisters.

Regards
Daisy
