Title: Walter COMMON from Scotland

I am trying to trace information on the Parents of
Walter Common born 1817 somewhere in Scotland.

He married Mary Ann Ratcliff in Huddersfield in 1843
and lived in Halifax till 1897

Any help appreciated

this is the nearest I get, but there is a Walter Cuming in 1826

Walter Common b 2/7/1800 at Minto Rox.

I don't know how successful you have been since 2006 but...
James Common (b 1781 in Barnard Castle m Charters Smith, was my Great Great Great Grandad his line goes,

Walter Common(b 1818)
Arthur Welsh Common (b 1851)
Arthur Ratcliff Common b1894)
David Common (b 1936)
