Title: Traynor/Trainer
Post by: patb on Sunday 08 February 04 16:16 GMT (UK)
Looking for information on the Traynor/Trainor family from Birkenhead.

Lawrence Traynor was a cattle dealer born abt 1821. and died 1875.Found his death on Cheshirebmd.

His daughter Fanny/Frances Trainor was born 1860 in Birkenhead, I have found her birth on the Cheshirebmd. There may have neen another daughter, Fanny's twin but not sure of her name.

Can anyone give me any information on the family from any of the census from 1861-1881  :)

I know that Frances married Henry Johnston in 1892 and she appears on the 1901 census but I can't find anyother information on her.

Thanks

Pat

Hi Pat

In the 1891 Census RG12/ 2979/ Folio 110/ Page 55
Frances Traynor, single, aged 28, born Birkenhead, Cheshire is shown as a General Servant ‘Domestic’ to 58 year old Thomas Evans, Builder and Hariette (50) his wife of 67 Anfield Road, Walton on the Hill, Lancashire.

As far as the 1881 census is concerned – I have the original 25 cd set plus the British Isles Vital Record Index; but as yet have been unable to locate her - but I have not given up
