Priscilla Lewthwaite is secretary of IoM FH Soc ( - http:\\www.isle-of-man.com/interests/genealogy/fhs/index.htm - she is not on email & I hesitate to give her postal address though I believe she is in the online Manx telephone directory - she has naturally 'done' the entire Manx Lewthwaite clan

Thanks Frances_mnb
I will see if I can contact her through the web site

Hi Carol,
John and Alexander Lewthwaite are mentioned in an article about The Hon. James K. Ward (http://www.isle-of-man.com/manxnotebook/mquart/mq09837.htm) in the Manx Quarterly, #9 1910
"Mr John Lewthwaite, bookbinder, stationer, and paper manufacturer, was father
of Mr Alexander Lewthwaite, bookbinder and stationer, of the Market Hill, Douglas."
