Can someone please look for Catherine (or Katherine) Boland on the 1891 census. She should be about 10yrs old and born in Whitechapel, she might have a brother named James aged 13.

They are tough to find.  Do you have any further information on these two - parents names and birthplaces to help find them?

There are several James Boland births 1877-79ish, but none in London area - I remember seeing Liverpool, Derby, Sheffield...etc

My maiden name is Bollands, and over my time of searching have found it spelt different ways

BOLLANDS, BOLLAND, BOLLANS, BOLLAN, BOLAND, BOLLIN,  just to keep me on my toes :o  my family originate from Rutland and Leicestershire, but I am also lead to believe it may have IRISH connection.

Ok will someone else see what they think of this one, has been transcribed as Katherine H Poland, but when I look her father is James Boland and mum Eliza Catherine Poland???  Katherine is listed as born Chaphouse London

Katherine Boland married Dennis Donovan (younger brother of my great great grandfather Florence Donovan) in 1899. According to the 1901 census Florence was born in Whitechapel.
