I wonder if you could clean up this picture for me.  It is Stanton Drew School about 1895.  My grandmother is the girl on the right with the long hair.

May I say what a wonderful photo!
It looks so clear and I am sure it must be very old.So for it to still look this good after so many years is remarkable.

Thankyou very much.  It is amazing what you have achieved.  I was thinking of offering it to the village web site in case any of the other children can be identified.  It is the only picture I have of my grandmother as a girl. I only remember her as an eighty year old lady.  She was born in 1882. I think children must have been better behaved in those days as no one is pulling faces.

I must have had a Senior Moment by not looking at the date of the post.  Didn't notice that Sue had reactivated it.  Thanks for letting me know though.  After 4 hours on it, I think that I may contact the School Website and offer them the colour copy.   :(
