There is a Horace Plumpton ( born c.1805) wife Charlotte & family on the
1851 census of Canada, taken in 1852 Northumberland County, Canada West so
he was still alive then, despite the belief he died prior...What information were you looking for...as your posting has no query....J.J.

Do you need the marriage information for Horace Plumpton and Jane Mitchell? Seems he was 71 when he married in 1876

Someone has put this together on your family, but don't hold your breath
that the dates are correct. There are submissions on the IGI and Pedigree
& ancestral files...where I have never SEEN such a range of dates and
entries... ::) J.J. Why do people bother writing in dates they have no proof for,
and no "circa" or "about"...
However if the children noted were born in England, ( at least these dates state
about for the most part )then the decade of entry was in the 1830's...( Elizabeth
ann was probably married by the 1851, but her birth date and place of birth would
give closer date...)
Wow, Karen, he remarried at a late age!
