I'm researching John Collins and Mary Sullivan, who I believe originated in Mossgrove, Templemartin civil parish, in Co. Cork. They emigrated to the US circa 1855-1857 but I don't believe they had any children born in Ireland. I believe they were born circa 1835 and 1840, respectively.
I think this would be covered by the RC parish of Murragh in the Diocese of Cork and Ross. If anyone is actively researching another family in that parish, perhaps they can take a look in the parish register for these people as well.
These people would have married sometime between 1850 and 1857. I also believe that John had a brother named Dennis Collins, who was married to Ellen (name unknown) and perhaps he may have been a witness at the ceremony. They were also related to James Hickey (cousin), who definitely lived in Mossgrove in the late 1840s-early 1850s before emigration.
Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Mike,
This is in response to your post in 2008 ;D
You mention a Dennis COLLINS married to Ellen. My interest lies in a Jeremiah COLLINS born in Ireland in 1836 who according to the 1861 England Census (RG9/169/54, p.101) had parents Dennis born 1801 and Ellen 1811, both in Ireland but living in St. Giles, London.
Would there be any connection ??? ???
