I am researching the Garthwaite family name.
They originate from Brancpeth and moved to Wolsingham and Eastgate in Weardale county Durham.
Dates I am interested in are from 1800 to present.
Is there anybody else researching this family.
Have loads of info and family pictures, would like to share with interested parties.

Hi, i have a Benjamin Garthwaite born Trimdon, Durham who married Isabella Bruce in Stockton on Tees 1839, they emigrated to Wisconsin, USA sometime before 1846.. if you want to trace his family i can tell you that in 1855 they were living in Littlegrant, Wisconsin.

Super late to the conversation but this is also my family. My family is related to the John that is brother to this Benjamin. If my info is correct we are Trimdon, Wolsingham, and most likely Brancpeth. Also I think i have at least a Weardale death.

According to their profiles, the 2 previous posters have not been online here since 2011 and 2010.
There is also the chance that their email addresses have changed so they may not get notifications that you have posted.
If the emails do bounce back our system administrator will post a message to let us know.
If not, maybe give it a couple of weeks and then send personal messages and hope they reply to those.
