I am trying to trace Domenico Bertorelli who married Euphinia ( or Euginia) Leonardi in Borgo Val de Taro, Parma, Italy on 26th Feb 1876. I would like to find out how I can get a copy of their married registration certificate. Can anyone help please?

You can write to the town to ask for records:
http://www.circolocalabrese.org/resources/letters/index.asp
http://www.giacomobernardi.it/index.htm
- there is also some online data (earlier than the dates you want, but might find parents/grandparents of these two here)
Alternatively, if you have an LDS record centre near you, you can order microfilm of civil records, and church records, from Borgo Val di Taro through them

Re the above post
I am also trying to trace information on the above people. Domenico and Eugenia are my husbands great grandparents. My husbands grandfather was their son Marcello but I am trying to find their other siblings. I know of Giovanni but would like to find information on their other children. They lived in Chalmers street, Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. Would you know of anybody or group that could help with this information. Thank You

Hi,
The reason I was researching this family was to help my friend who is the Great Grandson of Domenico and the Grandson of Giovanni. I had written to Borgo for marriage information of Domenico, but was unsuccessful - the record does not exist.
I was told that Giovanni's only sibling was Michael, but perhaps you know better.
I will send you a PM (Personal Message) with my email address. If you contact me direct, I can communicate easily and forward the information that I have and a chart.
Kind Regards,
John

Thanks. There were other brothers and sisters. I was told they had six children five surviving. I think two were girls and another brother.

I see you are interested in Shucksmith - as I am.

Am not sure how to send PM - can you email me please?

As you have now made three posts to boards on Rootschat, you can email any private details and information via the PM service.
To the left of the box with your msg you can see your Rootschat name.
Under that is a tiny photograph of a child - that will bring your profile page up.
Next to that is a tiny green scroll - click on that and up comes a private message form.
Address it to the Rootschatter you wish to correspond with and off you go ;D
