hi. Just had a look at phillimores transcribed marriages for winterslow. Probably not all, only some, cannot access any more books and it is best to view the original parish records. May be this will help, or not, as the case may be.;-James Shears. m. Mary Henly 2-dec-1799 //  John White. m. Jane Shears 6-aug-1809 //Thomas Shears.m.Elizabeth Hasket/Haskel/ 25-jun-1790 // William Shears. m. Betty Stone 11-apr-1784  // Charles Plaister. m. Betty Sheers 1-sep-1760 [ note; it is now Sheers]// Thomas Sheers. m. Mary Patrick 12-oct-1763 // Samuel Sheers. m. Sarah White 4-jan-1742 //Jonathan Sheers. m. Elizabeth Carter 26-oct-1729 // Samuel Sheers. m . Elizabeth Stone 2-oct-1726// William Sheers. m. Margery Lane 12-sep-1637.//     also there is ;Hugh Searpe. m. Mary Mearsh. 1-aug-1630.  this could be a mistake by the transcriber, but would need carefull study and other references. have fun. John.
