Can anyone help me trace Featherstone Street in Bethnal Green/Shoreditch in the 1901 census - it's frying my brains. Looking for the Kenneally family in 1901 and 1881 - they could never agree on how to spell their name, which has added to the frustration. Head of house Thomas, with wife Martha, plus children Thomas (1875), William (1879) and Jane (1882). Thanks for any help in finding reference numbers.

Hello Trevor, Thomas and Martha married in 1873 so my search starts in 1881.
In 1891 they were living in Bishopsgate (Class: RG12; Piece: 235; Folio 153; Page 28)
Thomas' place of birth was simply London, Shoreditch for the children.
The reference to Featherstone Street comes from the marriage certificate for daughter Jane, who married Thomas Hipson in 1900.
Thomas, who married Elizabeth Dooley, in St James, Shoreditch, 1896, gave his address as White Cross Place, as did William when he married Mary Johnson at the same church in December 1901.
Switching my search in the past hour for White Cross Place, I've still not found a trace in the 1901 census.
According to the Booth notebooks, it was a criminal area, so maybe the enumerator was sent packing.
Thanks for offering to help, it's appreciated.

Hi
With the possible exception of William it is less likely the other two children were living at home. The evidence from the three marriages points to the White Cross Place address as being the more likely
