Hello everyone,
I am interested in finding information and if I dare say it ... photo's of my great grandfather's family.
Charles Henry Rogers immigrated to NZ abt 1880 and married Mary Mitchelmore Clark in Reefton NZ on the 30 July 1881 He was a miner there till his death on the 26 October 1898 and was buried in Reefton. He left behind 6 surviving children. My grandfather being the youngest son.
Charles Henry Rogers family were from St Erth Cornwall, I have been lucky enough to trace many of the families but would dearly love to see if anyone has a photo of my g-grandfather etc.

sorry I have done something so wrong here, the photograph was meant to be the little photo at the side by my name. But now that she is here, this is a photo of Charles Henry Rogers wife, Mary Mitchelmore Clark
Sorry for the mistake I will work out how to use this site correctly

It is a fabulous photo and deserves to be shown off! :)

Hi Huia
I have a photograph of Reuben Rogers from 1944, he farmed at Trevean, St Erth, a neighbour of my G Grandparents. Is he part of your family?

Hi Jo,
I am not sure if there is a connection, I am still new to this and so far have only done the direct line to my Rogers family. If I find Reuben in our family tree, I certainly would appreciate taking you up on this kind offer.
Much thanks
Huia

HI, my grandmother Mary was the daughter of Charles Henry Rogers. I have a photo of them with four of their children and one photo of my mother Gladys and her brother Ernest. I am not very proficient on this website and so it may be a wait until i respond or am able to send the photos.
Zora.

HI, i sent a message to you (actually, it is on behalf of my mum Zora) - if you want photos etc, it may be easier to contact her on her email (*) as this website is going to be too difficult for her!
Cheers,

Zora,
I am not sure if you got my messages the other night as I too am still try to find my way around this site. And your email address was blocked. I hope we can make contact soon
-
You should now be able to send Zora a personal message with your email address direct to her, as the little green scroll thing is now appearing on the left hand side of her post, below her forum name. Sorry, not a very technical explanation!

my grandad was Ernest rogers. He owned trelean farm. I grew up playing there till it was sadly sold in the 80s. I wish I wasn't a small child then so maybe could of taken it over.
