Title: Can we access the South Africa Death records on Line?
Post by: ScouseBoy on Sunday 02 October 11 10:26 BST (UK)
I believe that one of my uncles.  a merchant seaman,  died in South Africa ( probably Capetown)  in 1934.

He is probably buried in South Africa as well,   probably funeral and burial paid for by the shipping line who he had worked for.

can anyone please  direct me to an appropriate web site?

Hi in response to your post.Try this link. http://www.national.archsrch.gov.za/sm300cv/smws/sm200gi.

Then click on the KAB repository box, when it opens type in his name and enter. A list of documents will appear, just click on Result Summary and then click on each and you will see what info each one contains. Good luck Derek.
