Looking for information on an Adam Macleod who was a grocer.
His wife, Isabella Laing, died in Halkirk in 1962.
Does anyone know if he had a shop in Halkirk and if so when he stopped trading.

Thank you. Very interesting history of that time. Sad thing is I can remember much of it....chaff beds, paraffin lamps, etc. !!!

Have now found that Adam and Isabella had a son, Adam, who died in June 1983.
Anyone out there who knew Adam Jnr. and can give me any information about him.
