The Perry Snow Registry has now been taken over by the British Home Children Advocacy & Research Association.

Over 110,000 children from the UK were sent to Canada as indentured servants, if your missing children from your tree's this could be your answer!

One of Canada's best kept historical secrets, the mass immigration of tens of thousands of children to be used as a source of cheap labor. Between 1863 and 1949, over 110,000 children were forcibly removed from the UK and brought to Canada. Known as the British Home Children, their descendants alone are estimated to make up over 10% of Canada's population and yet, even their very own descendants are unaware, not only that their ancestors may have been BHC, but also what this truly means.
The history of the British Home Children, is now available on YOUTUBE. Find out the history behind these migration programs, how this was legal, what was behind the horrific treatment of many of these children and why most BHC held their silence about their past for a life time. Please share and educate as many as we can about this story.

Hi Lori if you will see this, I am grateful for the  you tube link, is it you voicing and wrote the script? It's an excellent  40min lesson. compulsory watching for everyone would help us to be understood a bit, to feel less like unwanted vermin, mayb even loved by the few adults still guided by their hearts,  and children less judgemental and not jumping to the wrong conclusions.
