I am looking for a border crossing from Canada to the United States between 1901 and 1914 for Cora Irene Fredenburg [Fredenburgh, Fradenburgh, etc.]. She was born in Ontario in 1890/91 and is on the 1901 census with her grandparents in Haldimand & Monck, Ontario.

Hi Erato
I can't see a border crossing at the moment, but a tree on Ancestry has her birth as 06 Aug 1890 in South Cayuga Twp, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada. Parents given as Levi Boyd Fredenburg and Louisa Ann Dickhaut.

Could this be her?

There is also an earlier crossing in 10 Dec 1909 when she is also going to Madison but to her uncle the Rev John Fradenburgh.

Thanks, groom. That looks like the right person. I've seen that tree at Mundia. She was going to Madison - does it say what state? Would it be Madison, Indiana?
-
Yes Madison Indiana.

Hello
May I ask what your connection is to Cora Irene Fradenburgh? She is my sister-in-law's grandmother.
I have been researching the family for a number of years as gifts for my sister-in-law.

Thanks for your reply. My connection is to Jane [Conning] Richmond who was the grandmother of Harry M. Davidson. Jane Conning was the sister of my gg-grandmother, Janet Conning. That makes Harry Minton Davidson my second cousin twice removed.

Thanks so much for the response -- Lisa, my sister-in-law, was an only child and I have been working on her family's genealogy for years. Would you please share the Conning information with me? I had found John and Janet, etc but never could connect any further back to Scotland. I also haven't been successful in locating which James Davidson was her GGrandFather in the immigration records.
Please let me know if there is any information I can assist you with.
