Title: Bedwellty parish church

Hi
Is there anyone who live near the Gwent Archives that could do a look-up for a marriage?  As per FreeBMD: William Gerrish and Ann Reed married in June Qtr 1902; I am seeking any details of the bridegroom, particlarly his father's name.  Appreciate any help given.

Hi Rowley
Its good of you to post the census details of a William Gerrish but what I am really after are details of the William Gerrish who married a Ann Reed in Bedwellty in 1902.  Ann Reed had been widowed in 1900, re-married in 1902, and by the 1911 census she was widowed for a second time.  I am trying to identify her second husband William Gerrish but don't know anything about him which is why I was hoping if someone either living near to or visiting the archives would do a log-up in the parish records.

Checked the Marriage Register, St. Sannan's Church, Bedwellty for June Qtr. 1902, no luck!

I had the marriage details off FreeBmd and assumed Bedwellty meant at St. Sannan's Church ???

Bedwellty is the registration district and the marriage could have happened in any of the places of worship in the parishes covered by that district, list attached, or in the registry office.

Thanks for the list; On reading Bedwellty I naturally assumed it to be St Sannan's Church because its the neighbouring church and many folk from Brithdir did actually have their marriage ceremony there.  Also there are a number of gravestones of people from the village who were buried there.  I was there recently for the funeral of an uncle; its a beautiful church.  Looking at the list Rhymney Church is a possibility.
