There is a vast collection of photographs held at Wick Heritage Museum take from 1863 to 1975. They were taken by local photographers, the Johnston family. A selection can be viewed on line at www.johnstoncollection.net They are of great interest in family history research.
The museum is amazing and overflows with interesting exhibits extending to various rooms and gives a great impression of life in the Wick area.

Thanks mirrin for pointing this out. It really is amazing. I have two photographs of my great great grandparents taken by Johnstons of Wick. When I visited in 2015, they were very helpful in tracking down a related photograph in the collection.
