Hi,

Could someone who has access to marriage licences please look up:

John Ellwood and Ann Waistell who married in Brough under Stainmore 5 July 1798 by licence.

The Marriages Licences for the Diocese of Carlisle have not survived. I believe it is the bonds that have survived and six out of eight volumes have so far been published. They give very little more information than that which you already have.
Presumably you got your information from the marriage register for Brough.
