I have had a message from someone who has found a war medal belonging to one of my G Uncles on their allotment. They are trying to find a close relative in order to return it to the family.
Please would you kindly look up a marriage for William Richards born Ferndale 1890 later lived in Tylorstown. He was still single and living in the family home on the 1911 census. It would have been between then and 1914. He got killed in France in 1917.
Thank you very much.

Have you tried looking for it on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ ?
Have you checked the www.cwgc.org to find his death,or do you know which regiment he was with,or the actual date of death?
