Thanks

Hi Keyboard 86
                      I think they are the children I am looking for.  William and Ann were illegitimate their Mother Ann born in 1804 and her Father was a John but did not know his birth.  I have Ann Blanchard marrying a John Proctor in 1832 so now I wonder where John and Ann are in 1841.  Maybe I have the marriage wrong or the date.
Thanking you

HI again, if the marriage 1832 for Ann Blanchard/John Proctor is correct, how can Ann b c 1837 be the illegitimate daughter of Ann?

You may be aware Ann b c 1837 marries Charles Lancaster Sept qtr 1852 Caistor 7a 949

Hi Keyboard
                  I have a marriage for George Blanchard in 1852 where he has a child John Proctor Blanchard.  I am wondering if you could find details of the 1851 census for Ann nee( Blanchard)Proctor to see what children might be in their household.  I know that the christening for Ann Blanchard 1837 doesn't seem right seeing that she was married.
Thanking you

Hi Keyboard 86
                       I made a mistake for the marriage for George Blanchard 1852 it should be William Blanchard.  Sorry

Ann was the illegitimate daughter of Mary (top left) http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=504936&iid=273739

This suggests that Mary was more likely daughter of John, not his wife.

William, illegitimate son of Ann (2nd on left) http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=504936&iid=273705

William appears to have given his grandfather's name when he married -

14 June 1852 at North Somercotes
William BLANSHARD (son of John) to Ellen LOUGHTON (dau of William)

John's wife Amy died in 1821 aged 42 (near bottom left) http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=509974&iid=273357

                                        Thank you both for the information I was after.  I got confused with some of the family but you have put me in the right direction.
Thanks

Hi
Ann Blanchard born 1804 Keelby married John Proctor in 1832.Before her marriage Ann had two illegitimate children Jane Blanchard and William Proctor Blanchard. Ann and John Proctor do not have anymore children and Ann died in 1891 and John died in 1888. William Proctor Blanchard born 1829 Keelby died in 1931 age 101.

Hi George,
You may already have this by now;
Baptisms,
St Bartholomew, Keelby
ELIZABETH, 3 Jan 1802, John/Amy
ANN, 22 April 1804, John/Amy

FRANCES, 22 July 1809, John/Ann
MARIA Blanshard*, 8 Sept 1811, John/Ann
MARY, 21 July 1816, John/Amy

From this it is likely that Amy is also known as Ann or the other way round.

Others;
GEORGE, 30 Jan 1820, Mother ELIZABETH
JANE, 17 April 1828, Mother ANNE, occp Servant
WILLIAM, 24 Dec 1829, Mother ANN, occp Servant
ANN, 1 Jan 1837, Mother MARY, occp Servant
MARY, 10 Oct 1841, Mother MARY, Spinster

Burials;
THOMAS, 20 March 1807, Son of John/Amey
AMY, 14 Jan 1821 as Geoff-E stated
JOHN, 11 Oct 1841 age 70

Elizabeth 1802 married John WHARD, 4 June 1822 Keelby
She appears 1841/1881 Cenus under Ward

Charles Lancaster was a Witness to the Marriage of MARIA Blanchard age 19, 13 May 1861 (no Father stated for her), Spouse James INCH
I presume this is MARY Baptised 1841 Daughter of Mary

Hi George
Hope this helps William Blanchard born 1829 Keelby married Ellen Loughton 14th June 1852 at
St Mary church North Somercotes. Ellen died 3rd October 1915 and William died 5th April 1931.
They were buried at St Margaret's church Laceby and they lived for many years at Cottagers plot
Laceby .William when he celebrated his 100th birthday in 1929 got mentioned in a lot of national
Newspapers.He was a bit of a character as he had been fined on numerous occasions for being drunk and disorderly
