Title: Writings of a lady.

I have in my possession an exercise book written in1954. This is when one Daisy Warren moved to Arundel West Sussex. It's is her thoughts on Arundel.

 Maybe she is an ancestor of someone in here. She was unmarried, my late father knew her, she was from Sussex and served on Arundel Council. She was possibly born late 1800. She had lucky escape when Haig the Acid Bath Murderer was captured. She was to be his next victim. She lived in High Street and had a pottery shop.

I don't know why my father had this. It should go to her family but maybe there is no one.

Not sure if I should have posted on Sussex board.

Have learnt a bit more on this lady from site on Crawley, Sussex.  She was born in Crawley. Her father had an ironmongers shop. She and sister Florrie moved to Arundel 1955. She died 1979. Unmarried.

Her writings, tapes and diaries about Arundel were in possession of Sir Norman and Lady Longley from Crawley. There is mention of a Roger Bastable historian.
