Chris,
I am not sure if you are familiar with this site: Findagrave.com
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cs&

But I know a lot of people do family research from it (though it is mainly for documenting cemeteries).

If you have lists from cemeteries (and have photos to back them up), I would even help you to enter memorials onto the website, then you can just upload the photos.

Just a thought,
Jan A
this is me on the site, if it opens up:

Hi
I notice you have photographed my ancestors grave at Cadder Cemetery Bishopbriggs. The name is Chambers ( mainly Thomas' and Elizabeth's). would it be possible to have a photo of it as we are unaware of the Thomas Chambers interred in 1964.
Thanks
Sheila

Hi Chris
Thanks for getting back to me. I visited Cadder Cemetery and spoke to the ' boss', who was very helpful and found the graves for me so I now have photos.
Thanks anyway
Sheila

I'm not sure how to post messages or how to get in touch with Chris5856 about New Kilpatrick Cemetery, so I apologize for using "reply" to this post.

I am looking for a photograph of the headstone in New Kilpatrick Cemetery that has 3 names on it: George Stafford Smith DOD 12 Feb 1912; Margret Kyle Smith DOD 19 Sept 1939; and Tom Stafford Smith DOD 08 Apr 1985. The stone may also have information about Tom Stafford Smith's wife Mary Lindsay Smith. In addition, I am looking for a Mary Smith, or Mary Hutton Smith born in 1862 but whose DOD is unknown.

Thank you,
Joyce

Hi Joyce,

Yes I have a picture of the headstone for George, Margaret, Tom amd Mary. It says Mary M. Lindsay died 2nd April 1985. (My ref is Section 3 photo 1101)

I have 11 Mary Smith's but none of their ages at death correspond with your birth date. Are there any names of people who may be buried with her?

If you can private message me your email address, or if you are on Facebook, go here https://www.facebook.com/HillfootCemetery/ and request it, and I will send you the photograph.

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris~You found a cemetery marker for me last year, and I'm wondering if you could look up another group of people? I am trying to get my 3 postings on the site to be able to use PM, but I'm not there yet! Thank you! Joyce

Possibly buried in New Kilpatrick Cemetery:
The people are:
Robert Kyle Fleming (1931-1982) Died in Strathendrick, Balforn, Stirling. His grandparents are buried in New Kilpatrick Cemetery.
Elspeth Ann Buchanan Fleming (1935-2016) Died in New Kilpatrick
Robert Stewart Fleming (1873-1942) probably buried in South Africa-not Scotland
Mary Smith Fleming (abt.1862-68-1924) probably buried in South Africa-not Scotland

Hi Chris- I have been trying to find the location of a grave of a person in New Kilpatrick Cemetery. She was called Jean Baillie DAVIDSON. She was only 2 days old when she died and was my Mum's sister. I knoiw she was buried in this cemetery but I can't find any location. If you have a record of her garev and its location it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
