Hi,
I'm looking for details of a marriage between Thomas Clements & Emily Froude in the above church for 1882.
I found this couple using the Berks BMD facilitity and I would like to find the name of her father but the registers for this parish have not been transcribed, as far as I know, by the Berks FHS.
I already have an Emily Ann Froude the d/o Thomas & Charlotte bapt. 1858 and am trying to find out if this could be the same person, as Thomas dies in 1891 Reading, and she could have remarried.
Any help most appreciated.

Hi so Emily Clements 35 Widow b Holborn with children John 7 and Thomas 6 is not her in 1891 Reading?
Only a possible if marriage had no middle name for Emily?!

1881 only has one Emily Froude matching the 1891 profile. Born 1852 Holborn and living in Whitley Berkshire
1882 marriage registered in Reading RD which included Whitley

I've come to the conclusion that we are talking of 2 different Emily Froudes especially as the 1881 census has Emily in Reading, but born Holborn, as you say, but with a Amey Clements who I presume could be a sister of Thomas Clements.
The Emily Ann Froude who is my tree was bapt. 1858 in East Hendred and married William Bridger in Mar1/4 1891 Hemel Hempstead. And is in the 1881 for Harwell with her mother.
As the Thomas Clements was buried in Mar 1891 in Reading, its difficult to accept that Emily would have remarried in the same month.
It was a long shot but I'm happy to accept there are two Emily Froud(e)s.
