Title: Great grandmother Queenie Gladys Dawes
Post by: Gillbanjo on Monday 07 December 15 11:12 GMT (UK)
Good day
I'm hoping someone can help. I'm trying to find a birth date/marriage date for my greatgrandmother. I can't seem to track her anywhere. I found an entry on ancestor.co.za and I've ordered the document, which I think pertains to her death but I am unable to view it until it is ready for download in two weeks time. Her name pops up too on baptism records for her children.
Other than that I can't find any info. I think she was born in South Africa.
Her name was Queenie Gladys Dawes and she married a David Henry Lee Lovering (I've got his birth cert).

Thank you

Here are the details of her estate file.  Generally speaking the death notice will give dates of her birth and death and possibly where she was born.  You can order it through www.eggsa.org

Thank you for the reply. I suppose that is the estate file I'm waiting for - it doesn't have the info on I need straight off but thanks for the info and I will look into the website you've suggested.  :)
