Am looking for the parents of Rev Thomas Fredrick Miller Willson (my great x 2 grand father) who was vicar of Rathcline, in CO Longford from 1839 to 1868.
Thomas Fredrick Miller Willson was born on December 23, 1799 in Ireland. He married Rose Galbraith on November 12, 1838, in Roscommon, Ireland.
He died on March 10, 1868, in Longford, Ireland, at the age of 68.
We think his father was a James Willson (possibly a Reverend as well). Thomas we think had 7 siblings:
Henrietta Catherine Willson 1797 to 1880
Richard Willson 1792 to 1876
Ledger Willson 1808 to 1870
Emma Dorothea Willson - 1811 to 1889
Julia Matilda Willson -1815 to 1881
James Willson - Dates unknown
Caroline Willson - Dates unknown
We know he Married Rose Galbraith on 12 November 1838, at Kilkeevan Church in Roscommon. We know he had 4 children:
James Willson
William Galbraith Willson
Frederick Richard Thomas Willson
Susanna Dorothea Willson
But we don't know who his parents were. Their marriage record says the father was Reverend Willson. I did find a listing for Thomas Wilson at Trinity College which would match his birth date, but shows his father as James who was already dead in 1830 when he joined Trinity.
Any assistance would be most appreciated!
